What is Online-Therapy and what makes it better than the competition?



Online Therapy is an affordable online therapy that handles individuals, couples, and business workers' mental health needs. This platform is equipped with 8 different sections:

The personalized therapists are selected based on your unique needs, personality type, and what you are looking for in your therapist. These therapists specialize in many categories including depression, anxiety, self-destructive behavior, PTSD, OCD, and more! Not only are they well equipped to take care of their clients, but you may also switch therapists with no penalty. While it is not recommended to switch too often, you have the opportunity to be rematched if you do not feel your current therapist is your perfect match.

With having a personal therapist, you have unlimited communication between you and your therapist, Monday through Friday. You may text, video call, and voice calls at your own discretion and on your own time! This is aside from the (basic plan) once weekly 45-minute session once a week. These conversations can range anywhere from something that happens in your day to something previously discussed to maybe even something you would like discussed in the future.

Stepping aside from the one-on-one time you spend with your therapist, you are also offered optional services complimentary to the therapy. These include applications such as your journal, sections, worksheets, and activity planner. The journal, exactly as it sounds, is a space for the user to reflect and address the prompts provided by the therapist. You may also ask questions and discuss your answers with your therapist.

Another service provided by Online-Therapy is their workbook and sections. Think of this as your personal mental health class! These are eBook-formatted and allow the user to interact with their lesson. More specifically, the sections are informational and hands-on tools that you need to identify, challenge, and overcome your problems; they are formatted into sections that can be communicated with your therapist through your workbook. The workbook is your primary form of communication and is conducted through a messaging system.

Lastly, and arguably my personal favorite, is their new yoga program! While some may not see the importance of maintaining physical health, the benefits are astronomical- and the creators of Online-Therapy knew that. The yoga portion has access to videos ranging from simple meditation, stretches, short yoga, and full-length yoga sessions, all free! If you are like me (someone who just needs professional advice but also knows the importance of keeping a healthy body) you will definitely love the new yoga program! Not only is the user able to participate, but also communicates the effects yoga has to your therapist in your sections tab.

Now, I know what you must be thinking... this has to be expensive... or I don't have insurance... my insurance will not cover it... maybe I can look into it when I have the money... Let me stop you! The basic plan starts at $40/week +20% off your first month! (with my link below) That includes ALL 8 SERVICES; that is also less than a dollar a minute plus the other inclusions for FREE! According to Mira Healthcare, the average cost of therapy in the US is $90 a week- uhhh no thank you! That does not include your gym membership you may pay for separately, not including the fees for extra time you require, and not including the additional resources outside of what is mentioned. Regarding the big question of whether insurance is required, the simple answer- nope! Not only is it not required, but if you do have access to insurance, you may be eligible (select providers) for reimbursement with a copy of your receipt.

If you are not someone who is too keen on the idea of having someone be heavily involved in your personal life and would like a simple pick-me-up, this program is for you. From one mental health enthusiast to her readers, I am so happy I found Online-Therapy! Personally, I have tried in-person therapy, the mental hospital, psychiatry, independent healing, and so much more, however, I have yet to find a program I love more.
